2010 started as a successful year for me at the SMS Annual compitition with a first for a
Full Sized Dressage Double Bridle which included a diamonte browband & reins and also a
third for a In-hand Shire Bridle complete with the bit and lead.
I commenced my saddlery training at Walsall College of Arts & Technology in September
2002 and completed in July 2006. I then became a member of the Society of Master
Saddlers on the 13th July 2006 as a qualified Harness Maker.
Since February 2004 until 2006 for 3 years I have entered the Society of Master Saddlers
annual saddlery and bridle competitions in the trainees bridle classes and have accumulated a fourth
and two thirds.

In February 2007 I entered the open class as a member in my own right
and got third place for a 3/8" pony show double bridle with laced reins and a velvet
ribbon browband.
In February 2008 I entered the open plain double bridle suitable for a cob or hunter
and was again
placed third. In 2009 I entered a Lonsdale Stud Guard which was third and a Cross
Country Bridle which gained a premium award.
All my bridles are hand made by myself and I produce very high quality bridlework using the very best
English leather, materials and fittings. As well as my bridles I make harnesses from individual
parts to full sets. I also offer a reliable repair service for equestrian & other leather items.

I have been around horses for 20 years starting of in lead rein showing with a Welsh Section A.
I then joined the Pony Club at the age of 5 where I began competing in all Pony Club disciplines
with various ponies, then moving onto horses. I then went on to competing in Show Jumping
and cross country on my successful mare Creole Aguila. I still do local competitions on Aguila
but I am very enthusiastic to produce a good service for making bespoke bridlework and harness
as it is very important to have the correct fitting equipment.
